Welcome to Evalynn and Elizabeth's journal!  We were born on August 31, 2003 at 34 weeks, 5 days gestation.  Our due date was October 7th, so we were a bit over 5 weeks early.  Select the links below to get quickly to the section of your choice.  Thanks for visiting.

Our third birthday is quickly approaching!  Where did the time go???

Many pictures are posted out here.  Prior to posting the pictures, I shrink them down to approximately 300 pixels to save space on the web server (we're only given so much space).  If you're wanting original sized pictures, please email us, letting us know which picture you'd like and we will email the original to you.

June 2, 2006: 33 months, 2 days

Yeah, Mommy is original...this is the same background as last summer!

Daddy did his sleep apnea sleep study last night.  He was put on CPAP the second half of the study.  He came home awake and refreshed (almost too giddy for 6:30 AM).  Mommy went back to bed.  He should hear back from the doctor in a few days.

Other than that, there's not much going on.  Mommy is so exhausted!

June 14, 2006: 33 months, 14 days

Time flies.  Mommy wasn't feeling so hot as those kidney stones are still working their way out.  Since Mommy had some energy this week, she figured she would catch up on sewing.  Today, Mommy made us swim suits (with no pattern)!!!  Since we're constantly wanting to go potty when we go out swimming, Mom thought it would be easier with two piece suits.

Here we are trying out our suits tonight...

Here's better pictures of the suits (sorry for the blurry one, Lynn is hard to catch)...

Lynn's look in the last pic is hilarious (she was not very happy though...had to pry her from Mommy neck when trying to get pics of Liz)!

June 17, 2006: 33 months, 17 days

Here's a cute pic of Daddy rubbing sunscreen on Lynn and Liz rubbing some on Daddy.  She told Daddy that she didn't want his neck to burn.

Guess what we scored today???  A SWING SET!  The price was right...FREE!  Someone had it on their terrace with a free sign on it.  Thanks Kelly for the find and for thinking of us as well as the use of the truck!!!

The girls were shocked when they went out to play.  Here's some cute pictures...

Here's a look at the swing set...the girls are giving their babies a ride...

Here's a first...HAIRCUT!  Ok, it was just bangs and it wasn't enough to even dust or noticeable in the baggies we put the hair in.  We cannot even tie it on one of the pictures in their room yet.  If anything, it was evened out.  We may even out the back soon.

Here's before pictures (they let us wash their hair in the sink, so their hair is wet)...

Hey look, another post!!!  Mommy is all caught up sewing and is now having some fun.  Today was two pillowcase dresses.  Here's the models showing the dresses off...

Mommy did do some trimming to the back of their hair yesterday to even the hair (still was not much hair).  Lynn's hair curls under some now.  They're still not used to bangs so they still push their hair over.

July 8, 2006: 34 months, 7 days

Sorry we went missing again.  We all ended up with a bad flu bug and then spent 5 days in Michigan.  We just got back last night.

Liz ended up with the worse of the flu with it lasting 7 or 8 days and just about landed in the hospital as she refused to take anything in and when she did, it didn't stay down for very long.  We though she was fine when we left for Michigan, but relapsed again Sunday evening and night.  Then, cousin Ephram came down with it Wednesday evening (flu bugs and rotovirus tends to hit him real hard).  So, we're sick of everyone being sick.

The vacation to Michigan was great with the exception of the sickies.  The four of us went to the beach off Lake Michigan on Thursday.  The girls had a blast playing in the sand and water.

Here's a few of the pictures...  The picture with the flowers is where we usually stop to picnic and rest on our way, just before crossing into Indiana.  The next picture is Lynn with cousin Katy.  Katy got lots of attention.  Then, there's the picture at the beach and finally the one of Liz learning croquet.

We may post more pictures out after we're done sifting through all of them.  The girls didn't want to come home.

July 20, 2006: 34 months, 19 days

There's not too much going on here other than trying to stay cool.  The girls love swimming.  Potty training is going great (until I say something).  They've been only doing pull-ups at night and long outings.  One of these days Mommy will try some longer outings with panties.

Lizzie will talk your ear off.  They've both been spending lots of time coloring and drawing.

Here's a picture I took just before they got themselves into a tiff and Lynn's arm was bitten.  Liz got to visit the naughty spot and had to apologize to her sister.
