Welcome to Evalynn and Elizabeth's journal!  We were born on August 31, 2003 at 34 weeks, 5 days gestation.  Our due date was October 7th, so we were a bit over 5 weeks early.  Select the links below to get quickly to the section of your choice.  Thanks for visiting.

Can you believe we're into year three?!  We are going have fun watching them develop into independent individuals over the coming year.

Many pictures are posted out here.  Prior to posting the pictures, I shrink them down to approximately 300 pixels to save space on the web server (we're only given so much space).  If you're wanting original sized pictures, please email us, letting us know which picture you'd like and we will email the original to you.

We finally coaxed the girls into their costumes.  It took the little pumpkin light lanyards Mommy bought.   They couldn't get the lights if they didn't wear their costume. Mommy made tote bags this morning for all three girls.  The bags worked out.  It rained, which soaked everything.  We went about two complete blocks around here.

Here's pictures...

Even with all the rain, the girls had dry panties.  They're doing awesome while on outings.  They're beginning to go onto the potty all by themselves when they have to go.  It looks like the hard part has been done.  Now, we just need to work on dry nights and poo'ing.

Yup, it's been a while.  There has not been much to report.  We're just hanging around.

The girls' vocabulary is really expanding and they're both doing some cute stuff.  When Liz is looking for something or trying to figure something out, she'll rub her chin with two fingers and go hmmmm.

Us girls went shopping this morning (all four of us) to buy Mitzi a winter coat.  They love the new outdoor mall in Normal (Shoppes of College Hills).  They like walking the wide sidewalk.  So, when we go there, we usually leave the stroller in the van.  We found the Playskool magnetic letters and numbers at Gordman's (love that place!!!)  They were supposed to be for Christmas.  But, they were having so much fun playing with the other magnets on the fridge, so we got them out.  After they got all the letters and numbers (do you know they also have Braille marked on them now?) on the dishwasher, Liz turned around and backed up to the dishwasher and said 'ready'.  I asked if she wanted her picture taken.  She said 'sure'.

Mommy cut Mitzi's hair the other day...

Believe it or not, her hair is now all one length.

Well, it looks like Lynn may have her first shiner.  It's hard to get a picture of, but it's there.  I was getting ready to start shooting Christmas pics within the next couple days.  I may have to get her 'good side'.  It will probably take several attempts to get the 'perfect' pics.  Hopefully she'll heal quick.  She's also coming down with a cold.

Here's a couple cute pictures we took Wednesday.  They've been setting out their blankets and have little tea parties.

More pictures...it's the beginning to perfect Christmas pictures...

Lizzie:

It's so hard to get a real good one of them together!

What a difference a year makes...

And two years...

Mommy hit a nostalgic moment....

November 25, 2005: 26 months, 25 days

Happy Thanksgiving one day late!  Mommy has been busy all week getting ready for dinner yesterday.  We invited Yar and his family.  Yar and Daddy work together.  They're originally from Russia.  It was neat hearing about their backgrounds and traditions as we're sure they were of us.  The girls were great.  They did not take a long time to warm up like they typically do.  Mommy also made placemats and a table runner at the last minute for that final touch.

Today, Mommy finished helping Danny get his wall up.  The frame went up two weeks ago.  Today we put the backerboard up.  This will be one less thing we'll have to hear about. :)

Mommy has pictures, but has to find the camera.  We suddenly have this interest for working on the computer.  Daddy probably put the camera somewhere.  Daddy had his first EMT clinicals tonight at the hospital in Pontiac.  He also does second shift tomorrow, then he'll almost be done with clinicals.  His class will also be done in a few weeks.
