About Us

Willisland Sewing Stitches is the brainstorm of Sherry Willis.  Sherry is a stay-at-home and home-schooling mom of four children.  Sherry became a SAHM after the birth of twin daughters in 2003.  She started home-schooling in 2004.

Once home, she started working on projects to make life easier such as bottle holders that attach to a stroller or high chair and props to make feeding twins easier.  Soon after, she expanded her scope to donate her time making costumes for church programs.  Then she made placemats for the new dining room table as well as other various projects.  Prior to Christmas 2005, she made jewelry gift boxes, tree top, ornaments and picture frames.

Sherry's dream was to be able to be a SAHM.  But once being home, money was real tight.  So, she decided to put her talents to use and make a business out of it.

Sherry comes from a family of seamstresses and crafters.  Her Mom operates her own sewing and alteration business.  Her Sister also works on many projects such as crafts, costumes and clothing.

Everyone seems to take pride in Sherry's creativity.  She also enjoys painting, graphics and web design.  She takes pride in every piece she creates, paying strong attention to every detail.
